I said I'd check in, so here I am.
Wednesday's issue was a heavy one. If you read it, sat with it, or send it to someone — thank you. That's not always an easy thing to do with an email. I'm not going to repeat the numbers today. I just want to ask the question properly, the way I asked you to ask someone else.
How's your week actually gone?
Not the training log. Not the version you'd give at the gym. The real one is.

Why I'm asking again
A check-in that only happens once isn't really a check-in — it's a moment. The whole point of building a corner is that it's there every round, not just the one that went badly. So, this is me holding up my end of it.
If you did reach out to someone this week — well done. That's not a small thing, even if it felt like a two-line text or an awkward phone call. If you meant to and didn't get round to it, there's no deadline on it. Today still counts.
And if you're the one who's been carrying something quietly — this is your reminder that the door's still open. Reply to this. Comment. Message. Whatever's easiest.
What a good week looks like from here
It doesn't have to mean everything got sorted. A good week, in the corner sense, looks more like this:
You noticed something, even if you didn't fix it. Noticing is the first job. Fixing comes later, if it comes at all this week.
You said something out loud instead of carrying it silently. To anyone. A training partner, a mate, a stranger on a helpline. Out loud counts more than perfect.
You showed up once, even when you didn't feel like it. To training, to a conversation, to this email. Showing up tired still counts as showing up.
You let someone check on you without deflecting. Harder than it sounds. If you managed it, that's real progress.
None of these are dramatic. They're not supposed to be. Most weeks are won in small, unremarkable moments, not big turnarounds.

One thing to carry into next week
Keep the corner habit going. Pick one person once a week and ask them properly. Not "alright mate?" as you pass them. Properly — with a pause, and room for a real answer. It takes ten seconds to ask, and it might be the only real conversation someone has all week.
That's this week's check-in.
Thank you for reading Wednesday's issue, for sitting with something difficult, and for being here again today. That's not nothing.
Reply and tell me how your week's actually gone — good, bad, or somewhere in between. I read every one.
Same corner, every week.
You matter. Keep fighting.

What we’re reading
No follow-up questions required
Every sales leader knows the feeling. You walk into a pipeline review with a number you believe in, and twenty minutes later, you're defending every line item to a CEO who just wants to know what's actually going to close.
HubSpot Sales Hub ends that conversation. Every deal, every rep's activity, and every buyer signal are all in one place and updated automatically. So your forecast is built on what's actually happening. And when you present that number, you can stand behind it.
